April and John are my realtors for life. Let me start by saying my wife and I were looking to buy in Florida, while living 900 miles out of state. We flew out a few times to look at homes. April and John catered to our every need, by carving out meticulous viewing schedules of homes and even guided tours of all the unique neighborhoods in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. They even picked us up and dropped us off at our hotels. Talk about door-to-door service! When we weren’t in town, April created and updated our housing portal and constantly found homes for sale that matched our criteria.

Anyone who knows anything about Real Estate knows it’s a tough business. Whether you’ve bought, sold, rented, or had any experience at all, it’s a tough process. My wife and I had some special circumstances that initiated the discussion to sell our home, and after LONG consideration, we decided we would sell and move out of state. We were thinking we were in a pretty decent position equity wise, and carefully considered our options. Do we “sell by Owner,” or do we find an Agent? We sat with April Robinson of Charles Rutenberg Realty to discuss the pros and cons of both options. We discussed market price, comps, updates, neighborhood, drawbacks, and realistic/specific targets that we needed to achieve if we were going to make this happen. During our consultation, April assured us that we could meet our targets, and we agreed to move forward.
